   Yesterday's Sabbath

1After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;2And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came to them.3And because he was of the same craft, he stayed with them, and worked: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.4And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.5And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ

  1. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, shall come forth; they that have done good, to the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, to the resurrection of damnation.
    John. 5:28,29

For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
Ecc. 9:5

0Now this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.51Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.55O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law

7.Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God.8He that loves not knows not God; for God is love.9In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.10Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.11Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
1 John. 4:7-11

What to do after Jesus does something for you.

19However, Jesus suffered him not, but said to him, Go home to your friends, and tell them how great things the Lord has done for you, and has had compassion on you.20And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel

For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins,

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
